From Nurse Williams - immunization requirements for 2026-2027 seventh graders

Dear Families,

Please review the attached letter from the Virginia Health Commissioner regarding required immunizations for students entering 7th grade.

Virginia requires the following vaccines before starting 7th grade:
• Tdap (Tetanus, Diphtheria, Pertussis)
• Meningococcal (MenACWY)
• HPV (recommended; parents may opt out)
Please submit updated immunization records to the school clinic once your student receives these vaccines.
